Training for Memorial Day 5K

A few nights ago I had a dream that I was running in a race and ever since then I have been wanting to make my dreams come true, even if I am 7 months pregnant. Today, I started training for a 5K that will take place on Memorial Day, May 25th.

I would like to thank cousin Michie for her proof that pregnant women can run and my loving husband for running with me even during his busy finals.

Wow! Now that'll be something to brag about! I think running is great when you are pregnant. It'll help with your stamina for labor, get you back to pre-pregnancy shape/size a lot quicker, & make you feel great. I ran up until the day before Aden was born. Granted, that was like 2 or 3 miles- not a marathon. Just remember to slow down and not push yourself too hard & you'll do great.
